05.12.2016 Netherlands baby food plant for Danone Nutricia

J-Tec Material Handling, Kapellen, Belgium, has won a contract to deliver the complete dry processing equipment for a new Danone infant nutrition production plant to be built on the company’s newest site in Haps, eight kilometers away from the existing facility in Cuijk, the Netherlands. Powder will be discharged, dosed and added to the wet mixing installation. This wet blend will be treated before injection into one of the spray dryers. The freshly produced powder will then be fed to BigBag filling stations. This semi-finished product will form the raw material for the infant nutrition blending lines.

2016 marks the 10th year of collaboration between J-Tec and Danone. The icing on the cake is definitely this latest project, the largest one yet on which the two companies have worked together. The plant is scheduled to become operational in August 2018. www.j-tec.com
