Near IR analyzer incorporates three technologies
The Polish subsidiary of Process Sensors Corp., USA, will be displaying the new MCT-MultiPlex™ analyzer on Stand C4 at SyMas, a bulk handling exhibition organised by easyFairs which takes place 3-4 October in Krakow, Poland. The device has been designed primarily to meet the expanding needs of the food industry. It is the first process transmitter to combine up to three separate technologies into a single compact housing. Outside the food industry, it has also been installed on cement lines for roofing tiles to measure moisture and colour that is fed into a PLC to control water and colour addition.
The industry standard MCT360 Near IR analyzer that measures moisture, oil and flavourings has been combined with an IR product temperature device and a white light source colour meter into one compact transmitter. The device, which is field proven, is the result of a partnership between Process Sensors in the USA and UK research groups. www.processsensors.com
