Henk Mariën, managing director and owner of bagging systems manufacturer Arodo, Arendonk, Belgium, passed away suddenly on 9th February, at the age of 70. 

 

He had built up Arodo with energy, passion and entrepreneurship, and leaves behind a successful company operating on an international scale with a workforce in excess of 100. A spokesperson explained: “His drive is our drive, and that means finding the right solution to a customer’s packaging requirements. Always on the lookout for technological innovation and facing challenges head-on, Arodo will continue along this course, and this is only possible because Henk is leaving behind a mature company. Ensuring excellent after-service following a machine installation, that is something that Henk Mariën was absolutely passionate about. Our customer service department will continue in that same way”.
