AVA, Herrsching, Germany, recently received an order from a long-term food industry customer which has been successfully operating an AVA system for more than seven years. Thanks to the good supplier/client working relationship the customer decided to acquire two additional vertical HVW dryers to expand its production capacity. These machines are used to dry food additives. For optimum integration into a continuous production process, two machines operate with a common raw product feed in reciprocating operation. One machine is alternately filled while the other is drying.
