15.05.2017 DMN opens Indian office

DMN UK, the UK division of Netherlands-based DMN-Westinghouse, has recently set up an office in India. It is based in Chennai and is being managed by two members of staff who have detailed processing experience. Sriram Ganesan has been appointed sales manager for India and neighbouring countries. Having worked previously for Siemens Flender and Hosokawa Micron Group India, he has extensive process technology knowledge across various industrial sectors. He has managed several turnkey projects from concept through to commissioning within the minerals and metals, chemicals, pharmaceutical, food and recycling industries as well as having had responsibility for various service divisions specialising in system dismantling, assembly, repair and refurbishment. He has specialist knowledge of powder handling/processing applications including milling, pneumatic conveying, mixing, agglomeration and compaction. Miss Regina is responsible for all marketing and sales co-ordination for India. She is also a former Hosokawa manager with extensive experience. Her knowledge of handling foreign representations and of customer databases has already proved invaluable.

Bob Rogers is general manager of DMN UK and played a key role in setting-up the India office. “This all started with our exhibiting at a series of trade exhibitions. While we already had a number of Indian based customers, the interest generated at these exhibitions was extremely positive and we realised very quickly that in order to cover India properly we would need to open a dedicated office. Sriram Ganesan and Miss Regina have been instrumental in getting the office organised and their hard work has already had a positive effect.” www.dmnwestinghouse.com
