Founded in 1917 as the Southwestern Engineering Company, it has grown from a small ore milling and mining equipment company with a two-room office, to a world leader in separation technology with nine manufacturing facilities and over 100 service offices around the globe.  Incorporated in 1934, SWECO patented the design of the first vibratory separator in 1942 and has continuously improved and expanded upon it to meet the demands of a diverse customer base.
