Fritsch GmbH – Milling and Sizing, Idar-Oberstein, Germany, has established its first subsidiary in the USA, Fritsch Milling and Sizing Inc. The company already has offices in Singapore, Russia, China and France. It has been serving a growing number of customers in the USA for many years and felt the need had arisen to provide a local presence.

The new US headquarters are located in North Carolina and form part of the ‘research triangle’ comprising many research institutes, established companies as well as renowned universities. Melissa Fauth, president of Fritsch USA, considers this to be an ideal location. In addition to office accommodation there are storage facilities and an applications laboratory equipped with many Fritsch instruments. Here Ms Fauth and service technician Bradley Miller can demonstrate the company’s range of equipment and if required can conduct tests and sample grindings for customers. The team is supported by Robert Fauth, who is in charge of office administration, and Barry Schubmehl who represents the company in Oregon.

 

The US staff along with sales manager Wolfgang Simon, managing director Robert Fritsch and Sebastian Fritsch participated at the Pittcon 2017 exhibition in Chicago.
