B+L Industrial Measurements, Heidelberg, Germany, reports that Marcus Graf, 49, recently took over management of the company. He succeeds Leo Baartmans, who had been managing director since 2003, and who continues as its director of international sales. Mr Graf brings extensive experience as an electronics developer and IT-specialist to his new position. His primary goal for the immediate future is to prepare the way for the launch of new products – including a new check weigher – and to affirm the company’s position in the market for industrial and process weighing technology.

 

B+L Industrial Measurements develops, produces and markets electronic controllers for industrial and process weighing systems. With solutions such as the miniPond 3F and the dataPond 3F, the company is among the leaders in the field of high performance and user-friendly weighing, filling, and bulk scale controllers. In addition, B+L is the European sales and service partner for US-based Hardy Process Solutions, a manufacturer of process weighing equipment. Among its customers the Heidelberg company counts reputable scale and machine builders, systems integrators, as well as end users in typical process businesses, such as the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, animal feed, fertiliser and building materials industries.
