IEP Technologies, Ratingen, Germany, part of the Hoerbiger Group’s Safety Solutions Division, will on Stand 1-319 at POWTECH present a broad range of protection equipment and services for applications and industrial plants at risk of explosion. Visitors will be offered use of virtual reality glasses to experience what happens during an explosion inside a complex processing system, and gain an understanding of how IEP Technologies’ systems can detect, suppress and vent explosions. In addition, demonstrations in Loading Yard 3A/4A will provide live experience of real explosions. The company’s range of equipment for passive explosion protection is well known within the industry under the former brand names of BRILEX and HOERBIGER. By integrating these solutions into its own product line, IEP Technologies has now consolidated its status as a full-solution provider.

The company additionally offers design and service expertise relating to explosion protection. An expert team will be on hand for detailed advice. “Effective explosion protection relies on several factors,” explained Markus Häseli, European director of sales. “Thanks to our many years of market experience and comprehensive portfolio, we are able to develop individual system solutions for our customers that inspire confidence.” On Wednesday, 27 September, Volker Krone, sales engineer at IP Technologies, will give a presentation on explosion protection using the example of a system for spray-drying lactose. It will be held from 11:30 to noon at the Expert Forum (Stand 2–507). www.ieptechnologies.com
