Export success for IIT
International Innovative Technologies (IIT)‚ Gateshead, UK, reports that it has won nearly £1M worth of orders in recent months for its patented new powder milling machines. Customers from the USA, India and Portugal, will employ the IIT equipment to grind a range of compounds including glass, minerals and other hard, abrasive materials into fine powders.
IIT technology is suitable for the milling of a wide range of natural raw materials and industrial products, such as aluminium oxide, silicon carbide, zirconia, calcium carbonate and limestone products‚ coal‚ fly ash and different types of slag, as well as glass‚ and GRP. A recently introduced second-generation milling system utilises heavy-duty castings in a range of modular grinding options to meet the needs of different materials, particle size requirements and throughput volumes.
These include a special twin mill system configuration, utilising two grinding modules operating in parallel from a common feed, for complete flexibility of material throughput and increased production outputs. Grinding modules can also be arranged vertically in series for multi-stage milling required for the production of certain grades of material. www.iituk.com
