22.06.2020 Dec names new CEO for US subsidiary

Dec Group, Ecublens, Switzerland, has appointed  UK-born Andrew Milner chief executive officer of Dec-USA Inc. He will be responsible for Dec’s North American business expansion and will also engage in the wider strategic development of the Dec Group globally, reporting to the group’s board of directors. He has extensive international experience leading businesses in the UK, USA, India, China, United Arab Emirates and Canada, where he currently resides.

He holds a 1st class bachelor of engineering degree (BEng) from Leeds Met University and spent his early career in the flow control industry in progressive engineering and general management roles, with corporations such as the Weir Group and Flowserve Corp.

Milner joins New Jersey-based Dec-USA from his previous role as president of IDEX Material Processing Technologies, with responsibility for The Fitzpatrick Company, Matcon, Microfluidics International Corp. and Quadro Engineering Corp., with facilities in Canada, USA, UK and India. 

Dec is a leading global provider of contained powder handling systems and is recognised as a world-leading expert in process containment technologies. It has been supplying the pharmaceutical, chemical, food and cosmetic industries for more than 30 years.

Headquartered near Lausanne, Switzerland, Dec has a global presence with subsidiaries and agents in more than 30 countries including subsidiaries in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Poland, India, China and the USA. In excess of 600 companies worldwide have successfully integrated more than 9000 Dec systems into their production sites.
