Bürkle, Bad Bellingen, Germany, has introduced a manual core sampler specially developed for powders and granulates which can easily become stuck or settle during sampling owing to their particle structure.

In comparison to standard all-layer samplers for bulk materials, the two-part core sampler has no gap dimensions in which the medium can become lodged while it is being removed. This makes it possible to take an accurate sample of powders and granulates through multiple layers, for example metal powder, abrasive media, salt, sugar, semolina, corn spindle granulate, etc.

The core sampler made of V4A stainless steel is available in three sizes. This means it can be used for a wide range of different vessels, for example bulk bags or small containers.
