26.11.2012 Guttridge forges closer Middle East links

Following its recent opening of an office in Riyadh and participation at the Saudi Agriculture Show as reported earlier, UK-based Guttridge will be promoting its expertise in the area of grain and flour handling at the 23rd International Association of Operative Millers (IOAM), Middle East and Africa district Conference and Expo which takes place 5-8 December in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
With experience that spans five decades, Guttridge has extensive knowledge in the design and delivery of materials handling solutions for grain. For flour applications this experience is complemented by modern powder testing technology that quantifies the flow characteristics of what can be a difficult-to-handle powder. At the Abu Dhabi event the company will feature its range of bucket elevators, belt and screw conveyors, focusing on the heavy duty machines that reliably deliver the high throughputs required for centralised grain storage facilities. For flour handling applications cleanliness and total containment are vital and the cohesive, easily aerated nature of the material can pose a challenge. Here Guttridge will highlight its enclosed conveyor options, its expertise in hopper design as well as in specifying screw angles that ensure consistent material flow. www.guttridge.co.uk
