28.01.2013 New fertiliser terminal at Teesport

Bunn Fertiliser Ltd has signed a five-year agreement with PD Ports to help supply its customers in northern England and Scotland with urea and Koch Advanced Nitrogen® fertiliser products via Teesport, UK.  The new facility, less than a mile from the mouth of the River Tees, offers 80,000 square feet of storage capacity that Bunn will utilise to supply the Scottish and north of England markets. The first shipment arrived earlier this month. Bunn selected Teesport as it offers increased distribution capabilities to the company’s existing network of eight terminals that are conveniently positioned within 100 miles of approximately all UK farmland.
“The new Teesport terminal provides the same capacity as Bunn’s Avonmouth facility,” said managing director Richard Sunderland. J & H Bunn is a subsidiary of Koch Fertilizer, LLC. www.kochfertilizer.com
