Gebr. Lödige Maschinenbau, Paderborn, Germany, at this year’s POWTECH (23-25 April, Nuremberg) plans to exhibit a new tablet coater which will demonstrate state-of-the-art possibilities for mixing processes and related technologies. It achieves coating times that are 40-50% shorter than with conventional solutions thanks to an innovative drum geometry combined with a special configuration of the installed nozzles. In addition, a continuously operating Ploughshare® 900-litre capacity mixer will demonstrate multi-stage, continuous chemical processing tasks on the company’s stand (5-222).
In the preceding week Lödige will present for the first time process engineering solutions for mixing, drying and conditioning of building materials at BAUMA, Munich, 15-21 April. The focus will be on a mixer specially designed for fast-hardening materials. The key component of the continuous DRUVAFLEX Ploughshare mixer is a mixing vessel with an elastic wall made of multi-layer, reinforced rubber. Formation of stubborn deposits on the mixer wall can thereby be effectively prevented. www.loedige.de
