With the sale of the 30,000th electronic weigher, the Oelde, Germany, based manufacturer reached another remarkable milestone. The latest intelligent solution is the MEC® 4, which, like its predecessor in the MEC series, was designed in the packing machine manufacturer’s development department for electronic weighing systems.
With the new MEC 4, the company has subsequently developed a whole new family of hardware, which allows the machines to keep up with increasingly demanding requirements for greater flexibility, speed, and ease of operation. With its touchscreen panel, the MEC 4 offers an operator-friendly user interface and is freely programmable with CoDeSys®. The high-speed processor, good electromagnetic compatibility, and temperature stability up to 70°C are additional advantages. An SD card is used as a storage medium and thus ensures trouble-free exchange.
