08.04.2013 Beumer opens new factory building in Thailand

Beumer Group, Beckum, Germany, has celebrated the official opening of its new factory building in Thailand, located in Chachoengsao Province east of Bangkok. In a festive ceremony, the German ambassador Rolf Schulze congratulated the company on successful completion of this important milestone. The newly built 2000m² premises, half production and storage facilities and half administrative offices, will allow the German equipment manufacturer to increase production and sales for the Asian market. Dr Christoph Beumer, group chairman and CEO, explained that the opening of the Beumer (Thailand) Co. Ltd headquarters would offer enhanced support for customers in this high-growth market and continue the group’s practice of strategic internationalisation. "I am convinced that, with the construction of a new building here in Asia, we have taken exactly the right step to keep up with the growth of the Southeast Asian market", he said. From now on, established Beumer products will be prepared for delivery and components will be manufactured locally according to the company’s quality standards.
Among special guests at the ceremony were Karl-Heinz Heckhausen, president of the German-Thai Chamber of Commerce, and Prachai Leophairatana, CEO of TPI Polene Pcl, one of the group’s largest customers in Asia. www.beumergroup.com
