Increasingly international POWTECH reports impressive visitor turnout
POWTECH, which took place during three days from Tuesday to Thursday last week together with the sister TechnoPharm exhibition, attracted 16,803 trade visitors from 83 countries to the joint event. The top visiting countries after Germany were Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic and the Netherlands. The leading exhibiting nations after Germany were Italy, UK, Switzerland, Austria and the USA. Thirty-five per cent of exhibitors were international companies.
The 724 POWTECH exhibitors from 27 countries occupied a total net space of over 22,000 square metres, with TechnoPharm accounting for a further 235 exhibitors from 16 countries. Organised in parallel with the dual exhibition was PARTEC, the International Congress on Particle Technology which was attended by some 480 particle specialists. Almost half of the delegates to this conference, which is staged every three years, were from outside Germany. The next POWTECH + TechnoPharm will take place at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre from 30 September to 2 October 2014. www.ask-powtech.de; www.ask-technopharm.de
