Newtec reports growth as part of Haver Group
Following its acquisition last year by the Haver Group, Newtec Bag Palletizing has increased its turnover by a third, and a doubling is planned within the next five years. In this respect the new subsidiary is able to benefit from the global sales network of its parent company. Support from other Haver Group companies is also assured. Mutual developments are planned for the future so that even more efficient systems may be offered to customers. The first step was achieved with the development of the new Series 5000 palletizer, which will be targeted mainly at the building materials industry where it will be capable of matching the speed of Haver & Boecker packing machines.
Newtec Bag Palletizing, based in Illzach, Alsace, France, employs 70 staff. With 40 years of experience in the field of palletising systems, it is able to add an important extra dimension to the Haver Group’s broad range of packaging systems. During this time it has delivered more than 1600 palletising systems to chemical, fertiliser, cement, limestone, gypsum, and building products industries. www.haverboecker.com
