Flexicon installed in new European head office
Flexicon Europe Ltd recently moved into its new UK headquarters, a significantly larger facility that increases manufacturing area, office space and operational efficiencies, as well as accommodating a larger staff. The new address is: 182 John Wilson Business Park, Harvey Drive, Whitstable, Kent CT5 3RB, UK (tel: +44 (0)1227 374710, sales@flexicon.co.uk). The company was previously located in Herne Bay, Kent. "The Whitstable facility not only expands our total area, but consolidates it under one roof with large open spaces, significantly improving production flow and manufacturing capacity,” said managing director Keith Bourton.
Administrative space has doubled and includes new conference facilities for visiting customers and an expanded staff of technical sales personnel responsible for European, Asian and Middle East markets. The company-owned building is equipped with energy saving lighting and heating systems and is conveniently located in an industrial park with rapid access to motorways and hotels. The company is part of the Flexicon Group which is headquartered in Bethlehem, PA, with other operations located in Brisbane, Australia, Port Elizabeth, South Africa and Santiago, Chile. www.flexicon.co.uk
