12.08.2013 Screener cam does not require tools

Rotex Global, Cincinnati, OH, has introduced its new Tool-Less Cam for APEX™ dry separation screening machines. This device enables positioning of the ball tray without a wrench, saving time when inspecting or changing screens. It is self-locking, eliminating the need for a locking nut, another time-saving feature. This innovative design also ensures uniform sealing pressure so that the screen panels are properly sealed every time. It additionally provides positive indication that the ball tray is correctly positioned.

APEX dry separation screeners are designed for efficient performance, increased uptime and quick, easy maintenance and cleaning. Using a low-angle, long-stroke, gyratory-reciprocating motion, the unit distributes material across the screen surface for efficient stratification and separation. A proven ball mesh cleaning system controls screen blinding to maintain high capacity and product quality.
Additionally, the APEX offers ergonomically designed performance and service features. A single operator can inspect screens in minutes, and the 6.8kg lightweight screen panels have been designed to be changed in 80% less time compared to competitive models. In Europe Rotex has main offices in the UK and Belgium. www.rotex.com
