11.11.2013 Starlinger secures nearly €30 million of business from K-Show

Starlinger, Vienna, Austria, reports that it concluded important sales projects during the eight days in October of the K-Show in Düsseldorf as well as from visitor attendance at the Starlinger open house receptions which were held around the same time at Weissenbach, Austria. “The visitor quality during this year’s K exhibition was extraordinarily high”, said sales director Herman Adrigan. “Most of the people who came to see us were experts from the respective industries – woven packaging production and plastics recycling – and knew what they wanted. And as always, also many long-time customers used the opportunity to come by and discuss current or future machinery investments.” With the multinational Starlinger sales staff and many of the Starlinger agents present at the booths in Hall 9 and Hall 16, plastic bag manufacturers and plastics recyclers from all over the world met with company experts to find the best solutions for their needs.

At the K-Show Starlinger exhibited four machines at two booths in two halls. The impressive viscotec viscoSTAR SSP reactor tower was a high-profile landmark in Hall 16 and the new lamiTEC coating liner for tubular and flat tape amazed onlookers with automatic roll change at full production speed of 220m/min and excellent coating quality.
In Hall 9 Starlinger recycling technology had a recoSTAR universal C-VAC recycling line in operation. The newly developed C-VAC degassing module with improved capabilities for heavily printed or contaminated plastic scrap received very positive feedback from the industry, and the line was sold on-site to a Portuguese plastics recycling company. Two further lines for post-consumer and production scrap recycling were sold during the show. www.starlinger.com
