09.12.2013 Senior appointments at Bunting Magnetics

Bunting Magnetics, Newton, KS, has announced two key head-office appointments. 

Rod Henricks, a graduate of Wichita State University, has been named director of sales, reporting to CEO and president Bob Bunting.  In his new position, Henricks will direct the company’s North America and Latin America direct sales force as well as its representative and distributor network.  Announcing the appointment, Bob Bunting commented: "Rod's previous assignment as product manager – metal detection, as well as his experience as a former Bunting general sales manager, bring a complete understanding of the company goals and products to his new position.  He also joins the Bunting executive leadership team." 
In the second appointment, Robert Bunting, Jr succeeds Rod Henricks as product manager – metal  detection. He will report to Barry Voorhees, general manager of the Bunting’s Newton operation.  Commenting on the promotion, Bob Bunting, Sr said: "Robert's technical knowledge and his enthusiasm for industrial applications of metal detection make him well qualified for his new position.  In previous assignments and as a member of the executive leadership team, Robert has continuously expanded his responsibilities within the Bunting organisation."  Robert J. Bunting, Jr is a third-generation employee of Bunting Magnetics.
