Demonstration of latest filling technology
In the final quarter of 2013 Feige Filling, Bad Oldesloe, Germany, organised a one-day presentation of innovative technologies for filling of liquid and solid chemicals. This was timed to coincide with the Intermodal Europe exhibition in Hamburg and some 30 guests from as far afield as the Middle East, USA and India were able to witness working demonstrations of latest filling machines. These included the type 86 high-speed drum filler from Feige’s ADVANCED LINE offering six working stations. It can automatically position, de-bung and bung two drums simultaneously.
Presentations were made by Sven Borghoff, general manager of Feige’s sales, marketing and business development division, and by sales area manager Thorsten Diedrich. Reinhard Surmann, sales area manager from the parent company Haver & Boecker, provided an overview of packaging options for solids. www.feige.com
