13.01.2014 Cyclonaire looks to expand following recapitalisation

At the start of the second week in January leading private equity firm Prospect Partners and investment firm Schilling Ventures jointly announced the recapitalisation of Cyclonaire Corporation, York, NE, an internationally respected pneumatic conveying specialist. The decision was made in partnership with Cyclonaire’s senior executives. “We look forward to supporting management in building a larger company in the broader material handling space and to partnering with Schilling Ventures, a skilled operator with a focus on lean manufacturing initiatives”, said Maneesh Chawla, a principal at Prospect Partners. Cyclonaire will continue to be led by its president Jerry Elfring, who has been with the company almost since its inception in 1973, together with his experienced management team. The company is seeking to invest in selected add-on acquisitions of other pneumatic conveying and materials handling companies as well as in manufacturing automation and controls businesses. www.cyclonaire.com
