Advanced milling technology for new Chinese ceramic tile venture
International Innovative Technologies (IIT), Gateshead, UK, has signed an agreement to supply specialist fine grinding and particle sizing technology to the newly established Shandong V-tong Science and Technology Ltd (V-tong) for use in its new custom-built ceramic tile manufacturing plant in Zibo, China. V-tong is a joint venture between the Hong Kong based waste materials recycling specialist Vecor and a leading Chinese manufacturer of ceramic tiles.
The patented IIT M-Series dry milling system, incorporating the company’s C-Series classifier, has been selected to ensure efficient control of the reduction and finished particle size of the fly ash and other ceramic raw materials utilised in the process. As part of the supply arrangements to V-tong, the company will also become the exclusive distributor of IIT’s patented milling equipment for the ceramic tile industry in China. www.iituk.com; www.vecor.com
