Frewitt, Granges-Paccot, Switzerland, has introduced FreDrive, a modular system which brings together the conical reduction of powders and granulates as well as controlled screening and fine grinding in a single machine. Thanks to the three, easily interchangeable mill heads, the customer can quickly convert to a new process. Three different methods can be used for grinding, fine grinding or controlled screening of powders and granules. This modular system is not only ergonomically friendly, but also very cost-effective. Whilst in the past a user would have been obliged to invest in three mills, with FreDrive there is the clear advantage of a drive and control system with three milling heads, which effectively reduces investment cost by 50%.
