TECHSOLIDS, the Spanish Association of Technology for Solids, has been constituted after prolonged discussion to define its aims. It plans to cooperate with similar organisations in Germany, UK, Italy, USA and Australia to coordinate strategies especially in the field of exchange of information and lobbying. The initial membership comprises 26 companies with the common objective of carrying our joint activities related to research, training, information and promotion. The number of member companies is expected to exceed 50 within the next 12 months.
