SOLIDS Dortmund 2014 (better known at SCHÜTTGUT in German-speaking countries), which takes place 21-22 May, will be the most important business and information platform for powder and bulk solids technologies this spring in Germany. It forms part of easyFairs’ Solids European Series which also includes similar exhibitions in the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Poland – and for the first time next year in Russia. Highlights at this month’s Dortmund event include: 400 exhibitors in three halls, four lecture arenas with 60 free lectures, guided tours of the exhibition themed to specific topics and a business bar for networking. The number of exhibitors from outside Germany is reported to have increased by 50% compared with last time. As part of the agenda there will also be the first German Fire and Explosion Protection Congress (in German language only).
