Ventomatic extends bagging capabilities through closer partner cooperation
FLSmidth Ventomatic, Valbrembo, Italy, one of the world's leading suppliers of complete plants and individual machines for packaging of cement and building materials, has strengthened its position in minerals and chemical industries through consolidation of its partnerships with two Italian bagging systems manufacturers: Imeco® of Cremona and Rimini-based Italmeccanica. Both companies have long-standing international experience in the packaging of powdery and granulated products.
As a result Ventomatic is now in a position to design, manufacture and supply fully proven bagging solutions specifically designed for dosing and weighing of products such as ready mix, dry mortars, building materials, industrial minerals, fertilisers, chemicals and plastic granulate into any type of bags (valve bags, open mouth or FFS). The equipment portfolio now includes net weighing technology for bagging and bulk loading applications, fully automatic VENTOPACK™ open-mouth bagging lines for pre-formed bags in the10-50kg capacity range and VENTOTUBE™ form, fill and seal (FFS) technology as well as bag closing systems.
