Penko Engineering, Ede, the Netherlands, has introduced the Type 1020 series of weight indicators, guided by user demand that instruments of this type need to have more functions and features, be smaller and offer more value for money. 

Suitable for automatic as well non-automatic applications, including those for trade, they provide an effective interface between load cells and systems for data processing, control systems, etc. There are four models, certified where applicable, for belt weighing, force measurement, filling machines and check weighing. As standard, all models are provided with USB to facilitate set-up and back-up functions. Additional models include RS232, RS485/422, Ethernet, CANBUS and Profibus. Easy and fast calibration is performed digitally. The 1020 series features the innovative PENKO G-Cal™ auto-calibration system, allowing calibration for any geographical location directly at the factory prior to shipping and/or installation.
