30.06.2014 Change of management at Dustcheck

With effect from beginning of July husband and wife team Ed and Di Spires are stepping down as joint managing directors of Dustcheck, Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent, one of the UK’s leading dust control and air filtration companies. The couple, who co-founded the business in 1978, are handing over day-to-day management responsibilities to technical director Nigel Hubbard, although they will continue to be involved in helping steer the future direction of the company. “Nigel has been a significant asset to the company and I would like to publicly congratulate him on his new position. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge within the industry and we are confident that with his leadership qualities he will guide the company on in its next phase of growth”, said Ed Spires.

Dustcheck is the sole UK and Ireland distributor of industrial air filtration products manufactured by MAHLE. A connection forged with this German firm in the early 1980s allowed Dustcheck to develop a range of dust filters using cartridge filter elements – an innovative approach at that time. It also produces bag filters and next month will launch a new range of tubular sock filters. www.dustcheck.com
