18.08.2014 Wide range of hammer mills with emphasis on multi-tasking

Dinnissen Process Technology, Sevenum, the Netherlands, has introduced a new range of hammer mills designed for grinding and screening even the most difficult ingredients. Characterised by a broad range of capacities and product output particle sizes within the 3mm – 150 micron range as well as flexibility and special add-on functionalities, they will be exhibited at POWTECH (Stand 4-323) and at Industrial Processing (Stand 10 B038).
A crucial feature of the new product range is the enormous range of screening panels, surfaces and perforations available, as these features determine the capacity, quality and effectiveness of the screening process. Two notable members of the new hammer mill family are the small, easy-to-clean DINNOX Mill with a minimum capacity of 30kg/h and the D-Topline Hamex hammer mill with automatic screen changer which can handle grinding capacities of up to 45,000kg/h. The screen changer has space for four to six different sets of screening panels.  Dinnissen explains that hammer mills are particularly suited for grinding soft to medium-hard products such as grains, herbs, spices, protein-rich ingredients, nutrients, premixes, and minerals. www.dinnissen.nl
