Dec Group, Ecublens, Switzerland, the leading provider of powder handling and containment systems to the global pharmaceutical, chemical, food and cosmetic industries, has established a new Chinese subsidiary company to support and strengthen its successful growth over the last 10 years in China. Dec China is located in the newly established Swiss Center in Shanghai’s New Pilot Free Trade Zone.

“Shanghai provides a very convenient location for the new subsidiary,” said Martin Larruscain, regional manager of Dec China. “Our new subsidiary will offer more flexibility to supply local customers.” Dec also reinforced its growing profile in China by making debut appearances in its own right at the recent China-Pharm and CIPM trade shows in Shenzhen and Chongqing. For the first time at both shows, the company exhibited under its own name, rather than through a local affiliate. In excess of 200 companies worldwide are reported already to have successfully integrated more than 3000 Dec systems into their production sites.
