15.12.2014 Management buy-out of Vos Logistics completed

The management of European logistics service provider Vos Logistics, Oss, the Netherlands, and Scheybeeck Investments have together acquired all the shares in Vos Logistics (see EBS News for the week of 3 November). It was reported on 17 December that the transaction had been approved by the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM).
The company experienced improved trading conditions this year compared to 2013. The upward trend reported in the second half of 2013 continued in 2014, with cargo and logistics services performing particularly well. This year the company has invested 15,000 hours in staff training and education, and added 120 new trucks and 275 new loading units to the fleet. It also brought into operation a new sustainable distribution centre in Oss with a warehousing capacity of 25,000m². Vos Logistics will close 2014 with a profit on slightly higher turnover and a positive cash flow from operating activities. www.voslogistics.com
