On 21st January Spiroflow Ltd officially opened its new Technology Centre in Clitheroe, UK, which is located on the same industrial park as the company’s head office and factory. The new and more extensive facility replaces an earlier test plant at Spiroflow’s main site, thereby freeing up urgently needed manufacturing space to meet growing export sales of its wide range of powder conveyors, FIBC fillers/dischargers and other bulk handling equipment. The opening ceremony was performed by Councillor Michael Ranson, Mayor of Ribble Valley.
 

The new test plant, which also incorporates a sophisticated powder characterisation and testing laboratory, is almost certainly the most comprehensive of its type in the UK and among the most advanced in Europe.
