02.02.2015 Modular design for mixing and processing plants

BT-Wolfgang Binder, Gleisdorf, Austria, reports recent success in supply and assembly of modular mixing plants, notably for mineral processing industries. The concept has been developed to meet the requirements of new markets, especially in developing countries. In line with the slogan “START - EXPAND – MOVE“, the plant size can be easily and quickly extended according to the customer’s wishes. As a result, the plant can be built to the required degree of automation, operational scope and plant performance in individual phases according to the market development.
Thanks to the modular units and the semi-mobile design, the company is able to cater for required production capacities at short notice. When the market shows a suitable positive development, a stationary plant can be installed instead of the modular plant. After completion and start-up of the stationary systems, the modular plant is disassembled and can be set up at a new site. This flexibility considerably facilitates entrance into new countries and markets. Modules in unit sizes of 20ft and 40ft can be delivered to site by normal transport, with mechanical, electrical and pneumatic preassembly completed and tested at the BT-Wolfgang Binder factory. www.btw-binder.com
