20.04.2015 Novel end-of-line mixing system

Dinnissen Process Technology, Sevenum, the Netherlands, has launched the latest version of its Pandora end-of-line mixing concept which is designed for applications in the chemical, pharmaceutical, feed and food industries where there is a requirement for fast, gentle, and cost-efficient blending, especially in applications where costs have to be carefully managed without making any concessions in terms of quality. The new concept is suitable for mixing a maximum of 10 (micro)components and offers capacities from 50kg/h up to 100t/h.

It is based on a combination of several accurate gravimetric feeders and Dinnissen’s Pegasus® mixer. The special feeders accurately measure the supply of ingredients to the mixer. The Pegasus has been designed to gently mix fragile products in 6-8 seconds and sticky and difficult to mix powders and liquids within 30-50 seconds. The system is very compact and the special Batch Start-up integrated into the new mixing concept minimises start-up and switchover times for the production process. The compact design also makes the mixer easier and quicker to clean. In June this latest innovation will be displayed by Dinnissen at Achema in Frankfurt (stand 5.0 D17) and at Victam in Cologne (stand B 031). www.dinnissen.nl
