On 6-7 May over 1000 trade visitors attended the fourth edition of SOLIDS Basel, which presented 83 exhibitor stands, to inform themselves on latest trends and developments in process engineering for granules, powders and bulk solids, as well as to look for technological solutions.  A particular highlight was the interesting and highly relevant show programme, featuring a dynamic workshop by IN DEX® eV on explosion protection, expert lectures on a variety of topics and exclusive product presentations during the guided tours. Although a total of little more than 1000 visitors might at first glance appear to have been a modest turnout, those who took the trouble to attend are reported for the most part to have been highly motivated and well informed. Quality in this instance definitely seems to have taken precedence over quantity.

"We are very satisfied with the 2015 show. The market feedback has been extremely positive, especially regarding its compact format, which provides plenty of opportunity for intensive networking, concentrated technical discussions and well founded information exchange at the decision-maker level; both visitors and exhibitors appreciated that," summarised Easyfairs event director Daniel Eisele.
