20.08.2012 IBC for problem food and pharma powders

Ajax Equipment, Bolton, UK, has launched a new range of Lynflow intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) which have been designed for storage and transport of dry bulk products with poor flow characteristics. Using an innovative outlet design to prevent arching and ratholing during discharge, the IBCs allow mass flow without the need for vibrating discharge stations.

Fully interchangeable with traditional shaped bins, the polypropylene moulded IBCs draw on the latest developments in bin design technology to provide gravity flow discharge of bulk materials. By focusing on the geometry and generous radii of the outlet, the Lynflow bins ensure mass flow and significantly reduce the headroom normally required with this type of bulk container.

The Lynflow IBCs provide a cost-effective alternative to high maintenance, vibrating discharge stations, while the seamless moulded, FDA-approved construction also addresses the hygienic limitations often associated with inbuilt discharge systems.
