Upgraded X-ray product inspection system
Sesotec GmbH (formerly S+S Separation and Sorting Technology), Schönberg, Germany, will be showing the latest version of its RAYCON product inspection system at FachPack 2015. Using digital X-ray technology, the machine is capable of detecting glass, ceramics, stones, raw bones and several types of plastics as well as metal contaminants. It can also reliably inspect products packed in aluminium or metallised foil. This latest model features enhanced hygienic design derived from the RAYCON H+W system that was launched earlier this year at ANUGA, allowing for easier and faster cleaning. The large front cover additionally facilitates quick belt change.
The company decided to change its name earlier this year partly for reasons of concision and more straightforward alphabetical listing, and partly because the new name is pronounced almost identically worldwide, regardless of language. Also ‘Sesotec’ has already been well known as the company’s internet domain for the past eight years. www.sesotec.com
