06.08.2012 Hosokawa Alpine invites Matcon to present lean powder processing concept

As part of a similar joint-company promotion (see previous news item), Matcon - along with several other leading suppliers of processing equipment - recently took part at an in-house conference and exhibition organised by Hosokawa Alpine at the German company’s Augsburg headquarters. Matcon gave presentations on the subjects of “Decoupling to gain efficiency” and “Opportunities with pre-mixing” to an audience of over 300 high-calibre delegates from around the world, several of whom afterwards wished to discuss specifically how Matcon could help them become ‘leaner’ by employing the company’s IBC (intermediate bulk container) technology and concepts.

There was also a presentation by Raimund Hoenes, CEO of Glanbia Nutritionals, describing operations at that company’s new Orsingen, Germany, factory which produces premixes, amino acids, vitamins and speciality ingredients. Here Matcon’s IBC mixing concept has been fully implemented, providing highest levels of hygiene and efficiency. Copies of these presentations are available from sales director Hans Pettersson.
