Rockwell Automation, the world’s largest company dedicated to industrial automation and digital transformation, has announced a new collaboration with Liquats Vegetals to accelerate the digitalisation of operations at the company’s production facilities in Spain.
The initiative aims to strengthen process visibility, operational consistencyandenergy transparency as the plant‑based beverage sector faces rising production complexity. Manufacturers are increasingly required to manage a broader range of formulations, tighter resource constraints and heightened expectations around sustainability and traceability.
Jose Paredes, Country Director for Spain at Rockwell Automation, said the partnership reflects a wider shift across Spanish industry. “Manufacturers are operating in environments where production flexibility, data visibility and efficient use of resources are becoming essential. Working with companies such as Liquats Vegetals shows how industrial organisations are using digital transformation to gain better insight into their operations and support more informed, day‑to‑day decision making on the plant floor.”
Liquats Vegetals, which supplies major Spanish retailers, foodservice operators and international partners, is experiencing growing demand for flexible production lines, frequent product changeovers and closer control of resource consumption.
The company is advancing its digital strategy to better understand how production performance and energy usage interact across processing and packaging.
Rockwell Automation is supporting this effort with technologies including the PlantPAx® distributed control system, FactoryTalk® Energy Manager and the DataMosaix™ industrial DataOps platform.
Together, these tools enhance process consistency, provide real‑time insight into energy and utility consumption, and unify production and sustainability data to improve traceability and operational decision‑making.
