At Chinaplas 2025, held from 15–18 April at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center, Coperion presented a comprehensive range of technologies focused on improving efficiency in plastics compounding and recycling. The company’s exhibit highlighted innovations across the entire processing chain, from feeding and conveying to extrusion and recycling.

On display were two extruders tailored for today’s challenges in plastics production. The 4th generation STS 75 Mc PLUS twin screw extruder, offering 13.6 Nm/cm³ specific torque, demonstrated a potential increase in throughput of up to 20%, delivering improved product quality. Alongside it, the ZSK 58 Mc¹⁸ extruder, with a torque of 18 Nm/cm³, was shown as a solution for high-performance applications, particularly engineering plastics. Both extruders are manufactured in China under CE-compliant standards.

Coperion also showcased its latest feeding technologies, including the ProRate PLUS-M feeder from its gravimetric single and twin screw range, designed for compact layouts and high feed rate flexibility. The Coperion K-Tron T35 gravimetric feeder, featuring the ActiFlow bulk solid activator and EPC system, highlighted solutions for consistent feeding of cohesive materials.

A collaborative display with Herbold Meckesheim demonstrated a virtual 3D model of a complete plastics recycling plant, providing visitors with insight into integrated solutions for mechanical, PET, and chemical recycling. Of particular note was the ZSK FilCo filtration compounder, designed to reduce energy use and emissions by over 50% through single-step filtration and compounding.

Throughout the show, Coperion underlined its commitment to process efficiency, modularity, and long-term service support, offering upgrades and maintenance for both new and existing systems.
