Dinnissen opens UK regional hub
Dinnissen, a system integrator specializing in process technology of powders, granules, and granulated products, has opened a new regional hub: Dinnissen UK Ltd.
In addition to its two locations in the Netherlands, one in Germany, and one in Jakarta, will this be the company’s fifth branch. The daily management of Dinnissen UK Ltd. will be handled by Dan Baxter, who has over 30 years of experience in process technology. Operations will be based at the Alderley Park business park, near Manchester.
He will be responsible for customer relations in the UK and Ireland. With his proximity to customers and knowledge of the region, he can act fast on customer needs. Baxter states: ‘The focus is on serving our customers as effectively as possible. Having a local process expert who understands both the culture and the market allows us to serve customers better and more efficiently.’
Dinnissen has been working with UK-based companies for many years. The key change is that customer contact will now be handled by a local expert, rather than from The Netherlands. This ensures familiarity with local culture, conditions and regulations. Engineering and production of all components, machinery and complete production lines will continue to be carried out in Sevenum, The Netherlands. The complete systems will then be shipped to the UK, where Dinnissen UK will oversee further implementation. Wouter Kuijpers, operations director, explains, ‘At our company, we always make decisions with long-term considerations in mind. By operating locally, we can continue to meet our customers’ needs.’
