Diverse Offerings at SOLIDS & RECYCLING-TECHNIK Dortmund
On 18 and 19 March 2026, Dortmund will become the meeting place for the bulk solids, process and recycling industries. The SOLIDS & RECYCLING-TECHNIK Dortmund trade fair duo will bring together two days of comprehensive expertise on the processing, handling and recycling of fine to coarse-grained materials and waste streams. Trade visitors will receive practical solutions from experts and enjoy a high-calibre supporting programme. With the new process automation exhibition area, the trade fair duo is also providing impetus for digitised, transparent and energy-efficient production and recycling processes.

Over 365 national and international companies will present innovations and proven solutions for the bulk solids and recycling industry – from conveyor belts, bucket elevators, dosing and weighing systems to screening and crushing technology, dust extraction and automation solutions. Long-standing exhibitors include AZO GmbH & Co. KG, EBRO ARMATUREN Gebr. Bröer GmbH, GKM Siebtechnik GmbH, REMBE® GmbH Safety+Control, SEW-EURODRIVE GmbH & Co KG, Doppstadt Umwelttechnik GmbH, PFREUNDT GmbH and STEINERT GmbH. At the same time, new technology providers such as STRABAG AG, Optocycle GmbH and Mineral Waste Manager GmbH are using the stage to present their innovations.
“We are looking forward to exciting technical discussions and exchanges about our solutions in the areas of recycling, processing and value stream management,” said Georg Lehde, Commercial Director, STRABAG AG, North Rhine-Westphalia. For trade visitors, this means short distances, direct comparison of solutions and many personal technical discussions in a short period of time.
New in 2026: Process Automation Exhibition Area
A key highlight in 2026 will be the new process automation area. Here, visitors will gain a concise overview of the latest developments in automation technology and its benefits for efficiency, transparency and sustainability. Among other things, data integration and analysis, cloud-based solutions, remote monitoring, predictive maintenance, HMIs, MES, sensor technology and control technology will be on display. Exhibitors such as BSG – Bruckmann Steuerungstechnik GmbH, MaintMaster Systems GmbH, OPDENHOFF Technologie GmbH and SEW-EURODRIVE GmbH & Co KG will present specific applications for digitised and energy-efficient production processes.
Fill Up On Knowledge
A practical programme of presentations and discussions will run on both days. At SOLIDS Dortmund, the Innovation Centre, Impulse Centre and Solution Centre will offer specialist presentations on research, trends, cyber security, process optimisation, sustainability, AI, company succession and more.
At RECYCLING-TECHNIK Dortmund, additional formats will complement the programme, including presentations on PPWR, textile, PV and battery recycling, digitalisation and standards. Another key topic will be building material recycling. “With the presentation panel at SOLIDS & RECYCLING-TECHNIK Dortmund, we want to discuss current challenges and solutions in building material recycling. Building material recycling must be organised as an industrial raw materials economy. Standardised material classification, digital traceability, quality-assured processing and certification are prerequisites for secondary raw materials to achieve primary quality and be used reliably,” explained Thomas Fischer, Managing Director of QUBA GmbH.
In addition, the IND EX® e. V. Explosion Safety Forum will take place on the morning of 18 March 2026. To complement this, REMBE will be giving impressive live explosion demonstrations to show how modern protection systems work and how explosion risks in industrial plants can be effectively minimised.
The industry podcast ‘BULK TALK’ is also available in preparation for the event. Experts from industry and academia shed light on topics such as predictive maintenance, plastics and building material recycling, AI in production processes, skills shortages, diversity and resilient corporate culture. Listeners can delve deeper into the content at the event itself.
