Eriez has launched a new animated video that highlights its comprehensive range of metal recovery technologies for the scrap recycling industry. The virtual demonstration presents how Eriez systems can be tailored and integrated to improve scrap yard efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance metal yield.

The animation walks viewers through a step-by-step recovery process, beginning with PokerSort, which removes long ferrous items from shredded material to protect downstream equipment and maintain smooth material flow. The Double Pass P-Rex Drum System follows, using powerful magnetic separation to improve ferrous recovery and ensure cleaner outputs.

Further improving processing, the Shred1 Ballistic Separator isolates low-copper ferrous from mixed shred, enhancing product value and reducing manual sorting. The sequence also includes the Electromagnetic Scavenger Drum, which separates remaining ferrous from nonferrous material and debris.

For nonferrous recovery, the animation showcases advanced solutions such as Suspended Electromagnets, the Dynamic Pulley Separator, and the Ultra High-Frequency Eddy Current Separator—all engineered to ensure efficient separation and a high-purity metal product.

Additional systems featured include the Drum-in-Housing Magnetic System, ST22, and LT2 Eddy Current Separators, along with supporting components like magnetic pulleys and trommels. These work together to provide comprehensive recovery for various material sizes and types.

According to Eriez-Europe Sales Director Lloyd Williams, the animation reflects the company’s customised approach to scrap yard design. “Our solutions are flexible and scalable, helping operators maximise performance while achieving a rapid return on investment.”
