Flexicon introduces dust‑free mobile bag dumping system
Flexicon has unveiled a new mobile bag dumping station designed to improve dust control, operator safety and process flexibility in bulk‑materials handling environments.
The system enables manual emptying of hand‑held sacks into a sealed enclosure, preventing airborne dust and protecting both personnel and surrounding equipment.
The unit integrates bag dumping, compaction and flexible‑screw conveying within a single mobile frame.
Operators access the enclosure via a hinged door fitted with glove ports, allowing safe handling of powders, granulates and other dry bulk materials. A built‑in dust collector maintains negative pressure, while dual‑cartridge filters capture particulates generated during dumping.
Empty bags are transferred into an integrated compactor capable of compressing up to 80 bags into a removable bin, reducing waste‑handling time.
The flexible‑screw conveyor transfers discharged material to downstream equipment, with screw designs suitable for cohesive, smear‑prone or fluidising materials.
Mounted on locking casters, the system can be moved between production lines or positioned for cleaning, supporting manufacturers requiring adaptable, contamination‑free handling solutions.
Flexicon states that the design enhances productivity while maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards across food, chemical, pharmaceutical and plastics applications.
