Framework partnership agreement signed
Technotrans and Windmöller & Hölscher (W&H) have signed an exclusive framework agreement for the supply of the jointly developed Turboclean Advanced E ink supply system. Designed to improve efficiency and sustainability in flexographic printing, the system will be used exclusively in W&H printing presses.
The agreement follows a long-term development partnership and secures technotrans an order volume in the low double-digit million-euro range. Michael Finger, CEO of technotrans SE, noted the strategic value of the collaboration in reinforcing the company’s position in the print market.
The ink supply system was developed specifically for use in high-performance flexographic presses, such as those used for film printing in packaging applications. Development and testing took place over several years, with technotrans even assigning a resident engineer to W&H to support the process.
