Specialty chemicals company LANXESS is raising prices for its inorganic pigment products by up to 20% with immediate effect. The company is also increasing prices for a broad range of its Microbial Control products up to 30%, or more for selected products.

Microbial Control products include in particular active ingredients, preservatives and disinfectants to protect materials and substances against spoilage caused by microorganisms.

Bayferrox iron oxide and chromium oxide pigments

This move comes in response to significantly higher costs in particular for energy, critical raw materials, and logistics amid ongoing geopolitical tensions.

Despite intensive efforts to mitigate cost increases and maintain stable prices, an adjustment is necessary to ensure the long-term reliability and sustainability of supplies.
